Biography
ElnanaAfrika (Elfreda Rowland) is a princess of the Giesi Royal House of Ile‑Ife, raised across Bauchi, Jos and Zaria. A multilingual Afro‑folklore, reggae and Afro‑jazz artist, she commands the Djembe, Shantu and Kora with a stage presence that has lit up festivals in Nigeria, Ghana, Egypt, Germany, France, Benin, Togo, Dubai and Malta.
Beyond music, she is a Nollywood actress, former Groovoidz presenter, fashion creative behind 7 Oaks of Afrika, and collaborator with the House of Kese Jabari. A Taekwondo medalist and 2023 Music Icon of the Year, she mentors youth and supports women’s NGOs while serving as CEO of Adubi Ige Arts & Culture Connections. Through every medium, she champions African heritage, unity and positive change.
